    A monitoring/logging solution has been designed for regular operation that is able to provide information about the operating status of an application and its relevant components at any time. Errors are logged by integrated Log4j components and evaluated in an OLAP application. The Java-based application has become controllable through defined status even for transactions that run "invisibly".

    To manage peripheral devices, an existing infrastructure was adapted to an OpenSource platform (PHP, MySqL), tailored to the special needs of the customer.
